KONGO

Japanese Knowledge information

Also known as Sanko

The Fork of Knowledge

If you need inherent godly wisdom and insight, you will need to get your hands on this trident staff.

The forks of the trident shine like flames of fire — giving instant illumination and spiritual enlightenment without the need for batteries. This device also has many other special properties and comes with a range of mystical apps.

Back in the year 816, legendary scholar Kobo Daishi, founder of the Buddhist temple at Mount Koya, used this amazing device to pinpoint the most beneficial location to set up his outfit.

There are whispers that the Kongo was originally owned by hunting deity Koya-no-Myojin, who seems to have mislaid it. But after all these centuries the accounts are a little garbled and we are not convinced.

Wisdom and insight are always needed when it comes to disentangling ancient legends. If anyone wishes to donate equipment to Godchecker HQ, a Kongo is definitely on our wish-list.
