Modern Daytime God

Not a Norse God of Daylight

Unless we are much in error, BRONO is a non-existent non-entity perpetuated by uncomprehending mortals by mistake.

It’s claimed that he is a Norse deity of daylight and BALDUR’s son. However the only source for this we are aware of is a tiny unreferenced entry on Encylopedia Mythica back in 1999. Those were the primeval days of the internet, when random pieces of info were accepted as gospel and set in stone like Holy Writ.

Perhaps BRONO is a nickname or misinterpretation of BALDUR’s son FORSETI. However, it’s far more likely that BRONO is just a commercial brand name for Holy Washing Powder.
