AWITELIN TSTA

Zuni Mother Goddess

Also known as Awitelin Tsita

Extremely pregnant Zuni Earth Mother Goddess

She was formed from the primeval slime by Mega-God AWONAWILONA, who blessed her (and husband APOYAN-TACHI) with powers of procreative production and turned her loose on an unsuspecting universe.

The Earth started off bare and empty, but it wasn’t long before AWITELIN TSTA’s womb was swelling with life. The universe held its breath. Finally she could contain herself no longer and gave birth to every living thing. Much to the surprise of her husband APOYAN-TACHI who was hoping for a boy.
