FREYR
Also known as FREY, FRICCO, YNGVI

Popular God of Peace, Prosperity and Plenty

The son of NJORD, and FREYA's twin brother, he's in charge of Sun, Rain, Harvests, Peace and Prosperity. Very popular and very handsome.

FREYR's got a wonderful sword and he loves to flaunt it — he's always present and erect. If you're having marital problems of a physical nature, a prayer to him should sort you out.

He's married to the Giantess GERD, thanks to his resourceful servant SKIRNIR. He also has an amazing magic ship that always sails in the right direction. It never sinks, but it does shrink. FREYR keeps it in his pocket.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Freyr graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Freyr movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Freyr statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Freyr. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
