The secret life of Heimdall amongst the mortals

This is an alias of HEIMDALL when he’s off having adventures with mortals.

He created the first serf after sleeping with a farmer’s wife. The farmer was very disgruntled — at least until he realized he could put the son to work. They called him Thrall and that’s exactly what he was. All serfs and slaves derive from him.

Having had a go at the lower orders, RIG carried on with his secret mingling and produced Karl, or Churl, to start the pleasant peasant class, followed by Jarl or Earl, progenitor of the upper-crust top-notch types.

HEIMDALL aka RIG was therefore responsible for creating the first social class system. He’s got a lot to answer for, wethinks.
