ST BRUNO OF QUERFURT

Missionary, Bishop and Martyr from Saxony, Germany.

He was very successful in converting the Pechenegs. You know — the heathen tribe that once lived between the Don and the Danube.

How he came to be martyred we don't know. He obviously did not have a 100 per-cent success rate.
