PERKUNAS
Also known as PERKŪNAS, PERKANA, PERKONIS, PERKUNIS, DIVIRIKS

The Top Baltic Thunder God

This is the Big P God. The Major All-encompassing Top Thunder God of the Baltic.

He is the one in charge. He wields an axe in a similar way to THOR, and it always returns when he throws it at demons.

He is king of the skies even though his chariot is drawn by goats. They are the Billy Goats Gruff Brigade of goats, monumental and magnificent.

As a major deity of extreme importance, PERKUNAS has many names and stories associated with him. We also have him listed under his Slav equivalent PERUN. A god like this can always be run past you again.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Perkunas graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Perkunas movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Perkunas statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Perkunas. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
