Celtic Sun God

Also known as BELI, BILE

Famous Sun God

Shines through his numerous names.

Bel for short, Beli to the Welsh and Bile to the Irish. Billingsgate in London comes from Bile’s Gate. The Romans liked him as well.

On the 1st of May he has his very own festival called Beltaine where sun worshippers can turn out in force if they are hardy enough.
