NIDHOGG
Also known as NIDHOGGR, NITHHOGG, NDHGG, NHGG, NHGGR, NIDHG

The Worm at the End of the Universe

He is a dragon that lurks at the bottom of the World Tree and gnaws endlessly at YGGDRASIL's roots. He seems to be a fearsome pet of HEL who escaped from HELHEIM for a good old rampage but got stuck in the tangled roots.

Now he bites at the tree, always hoping to nibble his way to freedom, while also enduring the most fearsomely rude insults from the cheeky squirrel RATATOSKR. By now his temper must be dreadful. We hope he doesn't get loose any time soon.

We are often asked about merchandise. Can we supply the latest Nidhogg graphic novel, book or comic? Not to mention role-playing games (RPG), video games, Nidhogg movies on DVD, BluRay and so on. To purchase such goodies we suggest you search for a dedicated mythology-based online store - or try Amazon, Ebay or other reputable websites. We offer a wide range of our own merchandise in our online GodShop, but we don't currently sell third party items. Yet!

Visitors often email us asking about Nidhogg statues, sculptures or carved figurines of Nidhogg. We regret we cannot assist with identifying such items.
