The Gods Of South American Mythology

Introduction

South American mythology covers a vast and diverse area. We have already extracted the Inca civilisation from the top end as it has its own section. This leaves scattered tribes in Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia where the EL-DORADO rumors started.

Then we plunge through Brazil, down the Amazon and Xingu Rivers, until we reach the coast. We've skipped the Caribbean which has its own section and managed to avoid Borneo and other Indonesian bits which can be found in our South-East Asian department.

Many Gods are spread across different regions, cultures and tribes. We've tried to pin them down to a particular area if possible.
