SHADIPINYI

Kavango (Mbukushu) Evil God

Also known as Shadapinyi

Intoxicatingly evil servant of Nyambi

He is the devil, an evil servant of KARUNGA aka NYAMBI. He will lead you astray and tempt you into doing very naughty things.

One of his favorite inventions is alcohol. Normally we approve mightily of Beer Gods. But Shadipinyi only invented intoxicating liquor to cause trouble. Instead of a quiet pint of real ale or a tasteful sip of wine, he goads mankind to guzzle and gulp itself into an alcoholic frenzy.

Never mind zero tolerance and fixing the licensing laws. When the pubs, bars and clubs close on a Saturday night, it’s Shadipinyi you must blame for the resulting noise and mess.
