WUNI

Dagomba Creator God

Creator God of garbled messages

Hmm. Here we have very similar circumstances to those of Kalumba and Chuku. But this time involving a dog and a goat.

In the beginning, humans were having a tough time of it on Earth. There was nothing but endless toil and unceasing horribleness. “It’s a dog’s life down here,” they said. So they sent a dog up to Heaven to complain.

Unfortunately, on the way to the complaints department, the dog got sidetracked looking for a bone, and passed the message on to a goat instead.

The goat’s bleatings were somewhat garbled and Wuni, leaping to the wrong conclusion, decided to end human misery by sending death.
