St. SAINT ACHILLEUS

Christian Saint

Also known as Achilleus Of Terracina

Roman Soldier who converted

Along with his brother St. Nereus, he was baptized by St. Peter. He then threw down his sword and refused to slaughter any more Christians. This is the quickest way of becoming a Saint.

There must be a vast Roman Army of Saints being re-united with their heads somewhere: “This isn’t the head I started out with — can you form the men into ranks and do a march past with an ‘eyes right’ command so I can see if I can find my real head?”

Imagine lots of military drill and exercise. No more war, but plenty of marching hymns. ‘Onward Christian Soldiers’ is sure to be a favorite.
