A Vietnamese Priest who had been converted by French Missionaries

Then with fifty other converts he was killed in a purge by the ruling Emperors who were against that sort of thing.

In 1988 the Pope canonized him along with over a hundred other Vietnamese martyrs in a bulk sainthood session.
