St. CEDD

Christian Saint

Benedictine Bishop of London and brother of Chad

Originally from Northumbria and had connections with Lindisfarne. In a synod at Whitby he agreed the observance of Easter.

We are sure he had no idea this would lead to Easter bunnies and chocolate eggs. Sadly he died of a pestilence.
