Christian Saint

Also known as Ignacio De Loyola, Ignazio Loiolakoa

Patron Saint of Soldiers, especially retreating ones

Founder of the Society of Jesus.

Son of the Ducal Spanish House of Loyola, he was originally in the army but quit after the siege of Pamplona to take up a more peaceful life.

This he achieved by claiming to have a miraculous knowledge of the Mystery of the Trinity bestowed upon him.

Unfortunately he didn’t see fit to share it with the rest of us, so the Ultimate Mystery of God which has baffled millions remains ultimately a mystery.
