A slave who fled from his master Philemon
Making good his escape, he ran into St. Paul. Who converted him, and then sent him back to his master to beg forgiveness and freedom. Surprisingly, this worked.
He then returned to Paul to be used as a messenger, and became a slave to the Christian cause.
