St. SERGIUS OF RADONEZH

Monastic reformer and religious revivalist

He was a 14th century Russian who founded a Monastery of the Trinity which became a Center of Religious Renewal.

A great deal of revivalist fervor has passed under the bridge since then. But he is still one of the most highly regarded saints in Russia.
