ALCYONE

Greek Star Spirit

Also known as Alkyone, Halcyone

Brightest of the Pleiades sisters

She is the brightest of the Pleiades. Not necessarily more intelligent, mind you. Just more shiny and gleaming. Go take a look at her in the night sky some time.

She is so eye-catching that even Poseidon noticed her. He thought Alcyone was gorgeous and fathered several children with her.
