Drill Sergeant of the Pandavas and Kauravas

Another poor semi-divine soul caught up in the Pandavas vs Kauravas conflict.

Dad a king, mum the River Ganges. He would have been the eighth child except that she had drowned all the rest, and then tuned herself into total water. The king married again with the agreement that Bhîshma relinquished any claims to the throne and never had children.

Then what happens, Bhîshma takes on tutoring for both Pandavas and Kauravas, teaching military skills. This encourages them to beat hell out of each other as they grow up.
