KISTNERAPPAN

Hindu Purity God

God of Purification by Water

He runs the waterworks and his Head Office is Unit 1, River Ganges. He is particularly popular with the dying, who travel to the Ganges just to get a few sploshes of holy water to wash away their sins before it’s too late.

This is more or less the same situation as Ganga. The latest reference to him we can find is from a century ago — does anyone know what he’s up to these days?
