PRAHLADA

Hindu Devotion Demon

A lovely demon

We live and learn. He was the son of arch-demon Hiranyakashipu, but much to his father’s annoyance was loyal to Vishnu.

He was so devoted to his lord that his evil dad tortured him and did his best to kill him, but Vishnu came to the rescue and put paid to the evil dad once and for all .

As a reward for his loyalty under parental pressure, Prahlada was given a kingdom where he lived happily ever after apart from a few nightmares.
