The amazing flying chariot of Kubera

This is a huge flying chariot known as a VIMANA. These are not your usual mode of transport — they resemble gleaming clouds speeding through the sky on large wagon wheels. Yes, Hindu deities travel in fluffy UFOs on wheels.

To be honest, not many deities can afford to swan around in such luxury. But God of Wealth Kubera certainly can. He had a top-of-the-range VIMANA hand-built by master craftsgod Viśvakarman.

It was called Pushpaka and was the envy of all the other deities. How Kubera loved to drive it around the sky!

Unfortunately, Viśvakarman had forgotten to invent a car alarm or any kind of vehicle security. The Pushpaka was promptly stolen by Ravana and now Kubera drives a Porsche.
