Evil Snake Demon

One of the Asuras, he’s a pesky snake demon who likes to disrupt everything, block up spaces, coil round and squeeze things, swallow clouds, drink all the rain etc.

Indra dealt with this one after a drought, and sliced open the corpse to release a river of water.
