YINLUGEN BUD

Chewong Midwifery Spirit

Helpful Tree Spirit of Childbirth Education

This ancient spirit noticed a popular hero named Bujaegn Yed behaving in a very chauvinistic pig manner — stuffing his face after hunting with no thought for his pregnant wife waiting at home.

Shamefaced, Buj rushed home with a quick takeout meal, only to find his wife about to give birth. He grabbed a knife to cut her open and let the baby out as was customary at the time — only to find that Yinlugen Bud was also present and shaking his head.

The spirit showed Buj the secret of midwifery and his wife the principles of breastfeeding. Many people have lived far more happily ever after.
