Latvia has Holy Mothers for every occasion. This one handles particularly smelly ones. Meslu Mate is in charge of manure. She ensures that fields are fully fertilized and fertile.

She is an old woman who sweeps the farmyard and cattle pens to collect the fallen poop for use as manure. No waste goes to waste when she is around.
