AC YANTO

Lacandon Creator God

The God of White Men

The brother of Hachakyum, his name means ‘Our Helper’. According to the Lacandon Maya, he was responsible for creating all the new-fangled white men who kept appearing on the scene and causing trouble.

To some sensitive modern ears this might sound a little dodgy, but we are sure he is not a God of Reverse Racism.

A latecomer on the Godly scene, he appeared after the Spanish invasion, although he denies all responsibility for that.
