The Maya Gods of Mesoamerica...

GOD R

Maya Earth God

Also known as Bulkabil, Buluk-Kab, Kaab, Kab

An Earth deity of much mystery

A tantalizing figure mentioned briefly in a couple of codices, he is the subject of much guesswork and precious little info.

His name, rank and number are all completely unknown. Suggestions by Mayaologists range from an Earth deity called KAB to an anonymously benevolent God of Maize. He may be in charge of the number eleven or a manifestation of Buluc Chabtan.

There were rumors that he might also have been a God of Flooding. We’re not exactly flooded with information on this one.
