The daughter of Asopus, Zeus took a fancy to her and spirited her off. The poor girl found herself stuck in the middle of nowhere with a newborn son and the usual absent father syndrome.

But Zeus never forgot her and was very helpful when her son, Aeacus, became the King of Attica.
