MUDRA

The Ecstacy of Cereal

This another of the Five Forbidden Things. See Pañcamakâras. Parched grain is simply cereal grains which have been dry roasted. Nothing to get too excited about there, it seems, but apparently followers of Tantrism go wild for the stuff.

We have come across one or two references to Mudra having aphrodisiac properties. That would explain the enthusiasm, although we have not yet tested this in the Godchecker Food Labs.

Why not try roasting a modest handful grains for dinner yourself sometime and see what happens?
